Zlam Dunk is dead. Wait. No. Shoot. Um. Zlam Dunk recorded an album in 2010 and it's called Noble Ancestry. The songs represent growth and a new direction for the band. Noble Ancestry is that refined sound. The album's moody opener sets the stage for the next half hour of surf punk, dance rock and post-hardcore, if one wants to pigeonhole with arbitrary genre names.
but that's neither here nor there.
The drums are drummier. The guitars are more wah wah waaaah and the bass is like, totally, buuuuuuuhhhhhhh. Not to mention synths that synth like a synth.
